He sees your mess. He still wants you.
God isn’t looking for a polished version of you. He doesn't say “come to Me once you’ve cleaned up the mess.” He says come while you are still heavy-laden. You don't have to fix yourself to come to Him. You come to Him so He can fix you. 🕊️✨ Watch until the end.

To anyone who feels too messy to be welcomed by church or by God, I want to share a personal experience that changed my perspective completely. There was a time when I believed I had to be 'clean' or 'better' before I could approach God, much like many of us might feel. But through attending services at places like First Assembly of God and joining supportive communities around the #CelebrateRecovery movement, I learned that God’s love doesn’t work that way. He doesn’t wait for us to fix our mess before offering peace and healing. In fact, the beauty of faith lies in its acceptance of our brokenness. It’s about coming while still heavy-laden, still struggling, still feeling imperfect. That honest arrival is precisely when transformation begins. One moment that deeply impacted me was hearing a testimony about how Jesus heals not just the perfect but those who feel too messy for church. It reminded me that the church is not a museum for the perfect—it’s a hospital for the broken. This understanding gave me the courage to stop hiding my struggles and to embrace the journey of recovery and grace. If you’re reading this and feel like your mess is too big, know this: God sees you, all of you, and still wants you. There is no need to clean yourself up first. You are invited to come as you are to a community that supports healing and restoration. Remember, faith is not about perfection; it’s about connection and grace. So, take that step, embrace the hope offered by Jesus, and become part of a loving community that celebrates recovery and growth.
