After celebrating at her favorite Chinese buffet in Hollywood, I asked her what she wanted to do next for her birthday. Her response melted my heart …

She said, “When we were coming here, I saw a lot of homeless people on the street. They must be hungry too. Can we please get them something to eat?”

And just like that, her birthday turned into something far bigger than a celebration.

We spent the rest of the day feeding 40 people with warm @mcdonalds Happy Meals — a moment so pure and meaningful that she chose not to have any pictures or videos taken, out of respect for their dignity.

That alone tells you everything about who she is.

Zurie, your empathy, your kindness, and your heart for others inspire me every single day. I pray God continues to use your beautiful spirit to touch lives and truly change the world 🥰
