... Read moreTransitioning from homeschooling to a traditional school setting is a significant change for both children and their families. Having gone through this experience myself, I found that preparation and mindset are key to easing the transition. One important aspect is establishing a daily routine before school begins. Traditional schools have set schedules that may differ greatly from the flexible homeschooling days, so gradually adjusting wake-up times, meal times, and homework sessions can help children adapt better. Another tip is to involve your child in back-to-school shopping to choose supplies and clothes they like. This creates excitement and ownership of the school experience. For children who have been homeschooled, social integration can be a challenge. Encouraging participation in extracurricular activities or clubs at the new school helped build friendships and a sense of belonging in my family. It’s also important to maintain open communication with teachers and school staff to support your child academically and emotionally. As homeschooling often involves personalized learning, staying informed about school curricula and homework expectations ensures your child doesn’t feel overwhelmed. Lastly, embracing the changes as growth opportunities builds resilience. For example, my daughter Emma, who is quite the nerd, thrives in this structured environment by applying her love for learning in new ways and making new friends who share her interests. By sharing practical advice and personal stories, I hope families transitioning from homeschool to traditional school feel more confident and supported on this journey.

Yes, she looks beautiful! School is supposed to prepare kids for the work place. Kids are wearing pajamas and bonnets. Let her dress her like she wants it shows her maturity.

How I make an extra $50-200 per week from home
I tried out these websites so you don’t have to. It takes about 5-30 minutes per survey, making about $5-15 per hour. Although the numbers aren’t super high (it’s not going to make anyone rich), what I like about online surveys is that I can do them from the comfort of my own home (or desk, at
