Salem Massachusetts Travel Guide | Part 2

Here is part two of my trip to Salem, Massachusetts! This one won’t be as in depth as my first one but here’s a couple more places we stopped at before the end of our day in the witch city.

Travel Guide

📍 Location 1: Salem Witch Museum

🗺️ Description: The museum takes you through the history of the witch trials from 1692.

💸 Price Range: $17.50 each

👀 Tips: Tickets go on sale the day of at midnight and they sell out very fast especially in October. You can find tickets on their website, in the top right corner it says (purchase same day tickets)🎫

📍 Location 2: Old Town Hall

🏠Description: One of the many filming locations for Hocus Pocus.

• We did not go in here just took some pictures outside of it but I believe it has tours in October.

📍Location 3: Charter Street Cemetery (The Burying Point)

🪦: Next to the cemetery is the memorial for those accused in the 1692 witch trials and many of the judges involved were buried here as well.

• In October you will need tickets in order to enter but when we went it was very slow so they were letting people walk in around the grounds for free. They are very protective of these graves as they are old and fragile so when visiting you must be respectful and stay on the pathway.

I had such a fun time in Salem for the one day I got to explore. There are some spots we missed due it being closed on weekdays but non the less. It has so much history and the buildings themselves are beautiful. Definitely if you get the chance to visit Salem it will not disappoint! 🦇

I visited with my Grandson about 10 years ago. We really enjoyed the town and the water. Just beautiful and rich with history. I’d definitely consider moving here if I ever relocate.
