Don't try professional podcasts first
As a non-native speaker, when I want to know some frontier news in biotech around the world, although listening to podcasts is a very good to get efficient information, it's hard to understand because of my poor English listening.
So! I think I'd better start with some daily podcasts and reading. Reading can be a slow way to accept information little by little.

For those who want to stay informed on biotech news without the language barrier holding them back, starting with accessible daily content and supplementing it with reading is a practical and effective strategy. It’s about small, consistent steps rather than diving into professional podcasts too soon, which can hinder your learning progress.
