Hear from our Parents

Our family has been part of the MindChamps J10 community across two chapters with our elder child now in K2, and our youngest just beginning in PG. What strikes us most is how consistent the warmth and care has been across every stage, communicated and embodied by every single teacher and caregiver.

For our PG son, we are thankful for the gentle patience that helped him settle in during those first nervous weeks. Watching him grow from that into a boy who can (partially) dress himself, manage his own belongings, and take pride in his independence has been such a joy.

For our K2 daughter, she has grown to be self assured and happy in her own skin. Beyond confidence, we see character development into a child who is thoughtful, mindful, and respectful of those around her. We know these traits are nurtured daily by teachers who model and live these values themselves.

We also want to highlight the curriculum, which we have found meaningful in content, yet pitched at just the right level of challenge to stretch our daughter without overwhelming her. It is clear that care has gone into not just preparing them for the next grade, but instilling in them a love for learning that will carry them through primary school and beyond. This extends to the music and neuromoves programs, wholistically building their foundation for learning.

Beyond all of this, the teachers truly know our children as individuals and meet them where they are. They celebrate the small wins, communicate proactively with parents, and create an environment where both our kids genuinely look forward to school each day. That kind of joy is not accidental, it is a reflection of the culture that the MindChamps J10 team have built and sustained.

To Ms Sharlene, Ms Sandra, Ms Michelle, Ms Charmaine, Wang Laoshi, Gui Laoshi, Ms Lydia, Yow Laoshi, Ms Esther, Ms Lin, Ms Yingying, Ms Katey, Jiaojiao Laoshi and the whole J10 family, thank you for making MindChamps J10 feel like a second home. We could not be more grateful that both our children are exactly where they need to be.

... Read moreHaving witnessed firsthand the positive impact of a supportive preschool environment, I can attest that schools like MindChamps Preschool J10 make a tremendous difference in early childhood development. The emphasis on meeting each child where they are, celebrating small milestones, and maintaining open communication with parents truly creates a nurturing culture. From a personal perspective, children thrive when they feel seen and supported individually. As described in the testimonials, programs such as music and neuromoves not only enhance cognitive development but also build essential motor and social skills. These holistic learning experiences prepare children not merely for academic success but for confident, mindful participation in the world around them. It's remarkable how the consistent warmth and care from teachers become embedded in the children’s character and confidence as they grow. This approach fosters not only independence, like managing belongings and dressing oneself, but also respect and thoughtfulness toward others, which are critical social-emotional skills. The proactive parent-teacher communication dynamic also reassures families that their children’s progress and daily experiences are valued and shared. Ultimately, choosing a preschool that balances academic challenge with emotional support, as MindChamps J10 does, helps children develop a genuine love of learning that equips them well for primary school and beyond. Parents looking to enroll their toddlers or kindergarteners would do well to consider such a comprehensive and caring educational environment.

Things I’ve learned about my dad as he grew up
I once thought my relationship with him was beyond salvageable after he changed the locks to my home, kick me out and disowned me. But allowing some healthy distance and time, and me confronting my fears … was worth it. For me, I wouldn’t say that it’s about forgiveness. Instead, I’m grateful that

Why Parents Repeat The Same Question
