Catering a bridal shower for 12 people was an exciting challenge that combined creativity and careful planning. Drawing inspiration from a menu titled "INDIA'S BRIDAL SHOWER - 11 2026," I incorporated diverse dishes that reflected cultural richness and celebratory flavors. I began by selecting a mix of appetizers and main courses that could be prepared in advance, allowing me to focus on presentation and guest interaction during the event. Since the shower was in the DMV area, I also considered local preferences and seasonal ingredients to make the menu fresh and appealing. Decor and ambiance played a key role as well. I chose subtle yet elegant decorations that complemented the bride-to-be's style, adding personal touches like custom menu cards and floral arrangements. For music, a curated playlist created a lively and warm environment. One crucial lesson I learned is the importance of timing—making sure food was served fresh and on schedule, and allowing ample time for guests to mingle and celebrate. The experience deepened my appreciation for event catering and the joy that comes from bringing people together through food and shared moments.
