From my experience, the key to getting a smooth coating is to melt the Ghirardelli White Chocolate Vanilla Melting Wafers slowly in short bursts in the microwave, stirring frequently to prevent scorching. Using a tall, narrow glass makes dipping the pretzel rods easier and less messy. I like to fully submerge only halfway to keep a nice balance between the salty pretzel crunch and the sweet white chocolate coating. Immediately sprinkling on the Betty Crocker Pastel Spring Sprinkles and crushed Easter Pastel M&M’s while the chocolate is still wet ensures the toppings stick well and provide a vibrant colorful look. Once dipped and decorated, placing the pretzel rods on wax paper prevents sticking and lets them set perfectly. For best results, refrigerate them for about 15 minutes to speed up the setting process, especially if your environment is warm. These pastel pretzel rods are great for gifting or displaying in a tall glass at a party. They offer a delightful combination of salty, sweet, and festive crunch that guests love. Plus, using recognizable brands like Ghirardelli and Rold Gold adds quality and richness to this easy-to-make treat. I recommend experimenting with different sprinkle varieties or even adding a drizzle of pastel-colored candy melts for an extra decorative touch.
