AITA?

AITA for cutting off my dad?

Heres my story:

For context, my full blood brother(17m) and I(19f) only see our dad a couple times a year..

He has refused to help with school, vehicles, braces, sports, ect..

Also, he was insanely physically and mentally and verbally abusive until I was 13.. Thats the year my half sister was born, after she was born him and his wife at the time completely switched up and act like to this day that they never did anything wrong

So flashback to about 2-3 days ago, I asked my dad to help me with gas because I was driving a couple days a week an hour and back from school and I hadnt been paid yet, and my boyfriend had previously filled up my tank beforehand I felt bad asking him again

So my dad sends me $20 to cover my gas so i can drive home

My step mom proceeded to text my mom and accuse me of lying about needing gas money because i posted on facebook that my boyfriend took me to the movies.

my step mom (MIND YOU. this woman and my dad divorced years ago but still live together because they dont want their two kids to know theyre divorced) went off and i didnt wanna put up with it so i removed both her and my dad from all social medias.

She then texted me today asking why i removed her on social media, and when i didnt reply she texted my mom and started accusing my mom of being dramatic and making me delete them and that its her fault…

the only thing my mom had messaged me was “did you ask your dad for gas money?” and that was literally the only thing she had said to me

My mom told her that I was an adult and can do what I want and if I chose to remove them then thats my choice and she not once has ever tried to convince me to cut them off or remove them

After she had went off on my mom today I decided to block and remove my stepmoms contact from my phone… also… i havent heard one thing from my dad during this whole thing..
