Local Fusion Cafe that is pet-friendly in the East

Seng House — Hainanese-Western Café in Tanjong Katong

A local cuisine fusion café tucked away in Katong, with a really nice vibe and an outdoor seating area that is pet-friendly 🌿🐾. I tried a few dishes and honestly enjoyed most of them. The Hainanese pork chop with tomato sauce was juicy on the inside and very crispy on the outside — surprisingly good. The claypot chicken rice was super flavorful, and the claypot itself added that slightly crispy, smoky layer that made it even better 🍚🔥. The wat dan hor tasted like a classic hor fun loaded with seafood; nothing too special, but still comforting and satisfying.

I also tried their desserts, and they were a pleasant surprise. The frozen ondeh and durian crème brûlée both had that familiar local dessert flavor, but done in a more modern way 🍨✨. A nice spot if you are around Katong and want something local with a twist.
