Affordable Italian Sandwich Near CBD
Pazonia Italian Street Food @ Amoy
If you’re looking for affordable Italian street food, Pazonia is a good option.
I got the burrata & parma ham ($19.80) — the burrata was super fresh and served whole inside the sandwich, with warm bread and generous ingredients. Other sandwiches start from $9.80 which makes it pretty worth it.
Tried the aglio olio ($18) as well — slightly disappointing for the price, but I’d definitely come back to try the other sandwiches.
They have two outlets at Telok Ayer and Raffles, great for a quick dinner after work with friends
If you’re exploring Italian street food options near the CBD, Pazonia really stands out for its combination of affordability and authentic flavor. Besides the standout burrata and parma ham sandwich, there’s a variety of options like spicy chicken and classic Italian pizzas such as prosciutto and Hawaiian, featured at reasonable prices starting from $9.80. What I appreciated about Pazonia is how fresh the ingredients taste, especially the burrata cheese, which was served whole inside my sandwich providing a creamy, rich texture that paired wonderfully with the salty Parma ham. The bread was warm and soft—perfect for soaking up all the flavors. While the aglio olio pasta was a bit disappointing compared to the sandwiches, it’s worth noting their focus shines in their sandwich selection. The two outlets at Telok Ayer and Raffles make it convenient for a casual meal right after work or lunch with colleagues. From personal experience, the relaxed vibe and quick service complement the food, making it a good spot to enjoy authentic Italian tastes in a street-food setting. If you’re visiting, keep an eye out for their rotating menu options; they sometimes feature different pizzas like Truffle Funghi and Pizza Napolitana, which might be a fun addition to your meal choices. Pazonia is definitely a place I’d recommend for affordable, satisfying Italian food near the CBD!
