Sando&Don Fix Near Dhoby Ghaut(+Matcha!)
9Toast near Dhoby Ghaut is known for their sando sandwiches like honey glazed sandos and milk shokupan sandos, and they also have some unique drinks like tiramisu drinks.
This time I tried their rice don series — the mentaiko karaage don and the ebi don.
The mentaiko karaage don was really good. The mentaiko mayo added a lot of flavour and the karaage was super crispy and well fried.
The ebi don was also great — the shrimp were juicy and I loved the poached egg on top. The edamame and corn added a nice texture too.
For drinks, I tried the iced uji matcha latte and iced yuzu matcha. I didn’t expect much from the yuzu matcha but it actually paired really well with the matcha. Since I’m not a big fan of milk-based drinks, the yuzu matcha ended up being my favourite.
