Tried the spicy pork bone soup with rice, half chicken noodle, seafood pancake, and pork soft tofu stew — everything was so good.

The half chicken noodle comes with literally half a chicken, so much meat, and the noodles are handmade and super chewy.

The spicy pork bone soup reminded me of gamjatang without the potato, and I loved it. The sesame powder on top made the broth extra nutty and rich. So good with rice and all the side dishes — especially the radish pickle which was really refreshing.

The seafood pancake is honestly one of the best I’ve had in Singapore — super crispy and packed with ingredients.

The soondubu jjigae was also really good, served bubbling hot in a stone pot with lots of meat and flavour.

They also have yuzu and lemon ade, super refreshing and great to pair with the meal.

If you’re craving authentic Korean noodles and soup in Tanjong Pagar, this is the place.

... Read moreIf you’re looking for a place that truly captures the essence of Korean noodle dishes and hearty soups, Seoul Noodle Shop is definitely worth a visit. What sets this restaurant apart is their commitment to authenticity, from handmade noodles to the use of traditional ingredients that create rich, layered flavors. One of my favorite dishes has to be the spicy pork bone soup, which reminded me of gamjatang but with its own unique twist due to the absence of potatoes and the addition of nutty sesame powder. This sesame powder adds incredible depth and aroma, making each spoonful satisfying and comforting, especially when paired with rice. The accompanying side dishes, particularly the refreshing radish pickles, help balance the richness of the soup perfectly. The half chicken noodle soup is remarkable not only for its generous portion—literally half a chicken—but also the chewiness and texture of the handmade noodles. It’s rare to find such quality and quantity combined, which makes it a great option if you’re really hungry or craving a meaty noodle experience. Another highlight is the seafood pancake, which stands out for its crispy texture and generous filling. It’s easily one of the best seafood pancakes I have tasted in Singapore and works wonderfully as a shared appetizer or a main dish. Don’t miss the soondubu jjigae, served bubbling hot in a stone pot. The abundance of tender meat and the deeply flavored broth make it a comforting dish that warms you from the inside out. Pairing your meal with their yuzu or lemon ade adds a refreshing citrus note that complements the spicy and savory flavors perfectly. What makes Seoul Noodle Shop special is not just the food but the experience of savoring authentic Korean dishes in a vibrant part of Singapore. It’s a great spot whether you’re dining solo or with friends craving a genuine Korean food night. The attention to detail in each dish, from noodles to sides, truly shows the passion behind the restaurant’s offerings. If you ever find yourself craving real Korean noodle soup or a hearty stew in the Tanjong Pagar area, make sure to stop by Seoul Noodle Shop. You’ll leave not only full but also with a deeper appreciation for Korean comfort food.
