... Read moreGrocery shopping can be a challenge for busy young professionals, but with a bit of planning, you can make it work! Every week, the two 24-year-olds establish a routine where they plan their meals, focusing on whole foods with plenty of fruits and vegetables. By using a produce guide, they ensure they're purchasing seasonal ingredients that are both nutritious and budget-friendly. One of their strategies is to visit two grocery stores: one for basic supplies and another for higher-quality produce. This allows them to create delicious meals while minimizing takeout and processed food purchases. They also emphasize meal prepping, dedicating Sundays to prepare proteins for work lunches and quick snacks to grab throughout the week. This approach has not only helped them eat healthier but has also reduced their overall spending by cutting down on unnecessary takeout. By sharing their grocery list and weekly recipes, they're hoping to inspire others to take control of their food planning and make healthier choices. For beginners looking to adopt similar habits, consider starting small—maybe meal prepping just a couple of days a week or focusing on one grocery store at a time. As you build confidence, you can expand your meal planning and grocery shopping routine! Engaging in meal prep and embracing a thoughtful shopping strategy can transform how you eat—a perfect solution for anyone juggling a busy lifestyle.

yessss my bf and i do this. breakfast and lunches for work, cooked dinners (not always something crazy just meat and veggies or meat and pasta) as well as our normal every day essentials, drinks, protein, fruit and snacks, etc. and of course any household stuff, pets, first aid/hygiene, etc. we have a weekly meal board so that really helps make grocery lists and stay on track during the week

I meal plan for the month, grocery shop based around that, and what Im trying to work on is try to meal prep as I go through the week[s]. Anyway, I like to make lists so it works for me haha. I also try to calculate for every single item on the shopping list when I plan the meal/grocery lists to help keep a legitimate budget
