🚂WV National Park: Nuttallburg 🚂🏕️
Nuttallburg (in New River Gorge National Park) was an abandoned town after the coal mines ran out! The structures still standing include:
• the tipple
• the coal mine entry (not pictured as we didn’t make the hike up there)
• the coke ovens.
The buildings where they lived unfortunately have fallen but the foundations are still there!! (They also have posts that tell you what the building wash
