Saving for a future trip? Here’s tips 🌸🥰

I’m so excited that I have been traveling more even on little day trips but it gets expensive quick 😅😅

I’m the kind that uses cash frequently still so a travel fund has been very helpful! Every time I have spare change or bills that are under 10$, I place them in the jar!

Here’s the tips and rules I follow:

1. NO TAKING OUT OF THE JAR 🫙

2. Put ALL spare change in the jar

3. Set a goal ($ amount you want to achieve)

4. Start early: if your trip is next year, go ahead and start saving now and see how far you get!

5. Budget the trip: see how much you are going to need to help support setting your goal

6. Put small bills, not just coins. This helps to shoot up how much you save really quick! In a week I’ve already got 50$ worth of just bills in the box without counting the coins I’ve had! I’ve also added a 20$ bill and you can add however big! Any free change or bills are fair game

(Update: made it to 100$ in such a short time!)
