Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is stop striving, be still, and remember that God is in control.
In my own journey of faith, I have learned that resting doesn’t mean giving up; it means trusting God even when we feel exhausted. The phrase from the image, "Faith doesn't mean you never get tired. Faith means trusting God even when you're tired," deeply resonates with me. There are moments when life’s demands seem relentless, and pushing ourselves harder only leads to burnout. By choosing to pause and be still, we open ourselves to God’s guidance and peace. Many times, I have found that surrendering control by resting renews not only my body but also my spirit. This rest is not about inactivity; it’s an active faith practice—believing that God is working behind the scenes even when we cannot see it. This mindset shift can significantly impact mental health, reducing anxiety that stems from trying to solve every problem on our own. Moreover, embracing rest as a form of faith encourages a healthy balance between striving and surrendering. It enhances motivation by providing clarity and strength when we resume our efforts.
