My Favorite Angel My Grandma 🕊️⭐️🤍

Today makes 1 yr that my favorite person has been gone Aug.7,2025

I have cried all day today doing my hair ,in between clients ,or trying to eat something.

My grandma was the glue that held our family together she was the strongest person I know she was my prayer partner and my biggest cheerleader/supporter the bond between a grandchild and their grandparent it’s a UNDENIABLE ,UNBREAKABLE BOND and unconditional love like no other .

Although you are not here in the physical I know you’re always near me just when I need you the most and I will continue to make you proud 🥹 and to keep God first and to keep being a good person like you’ve always told me I LOVE YOU THISSSSSSS MUCH MARY JAMES 🏆🕊️💙🎥⭐️🤍

From my own journey, the first year after such a loss is filled with waves of emotions—grief, memories, and moments of reflection. My grandma was not just family; she was a guiding light and the emotional anchor for all of us. One of the key ways I coped was by leaning into the faith she instilled in me. Prayer became a source of comfort, reminding me that although she’s no longer physically present, her spirit remains close. This belief that loved ones become our guardian angels can be incredibly healing. I also found strength in the community that formed around shared memories and support. Conversations with family and friends helped keep her legacy alive and reminded me that the bond between a grandchild and their grandparent is truly unique—unbreakable and full of unconditional love. In practical terms, honoring her memory through small daily actions—like including her in my prayers, reflecting on her teachings, and striving to be the kind of person she was proud of—helped me navigate the tough days. It has been a powerful reminder to keep God first and live a life of kindness, values she passionately embodied. For anyone going through something similar, I encourage embracing these feelings and memories. Allow yourself to grieve but also to celebrate the incredible impact such a loved one has on your life. Remembering 'One year of Missing you Grandma' is more than just a passage of time—it's a continuous journey of love, faith, and honoring those who shaped us.
