I got pregnant at the same time as my sister!!
There is no bond stronger than blood, except when your blood bond strengthens with 2 new additions at the same time. 😄
This is my rainbow baby and I was honestly done trying, but as the saying goes, God always has better plans for you (in my case, deities).
It was honestly an assuring journey when we would check on any weird symptoms we have (when Google says almost everything is normal during pregnancy) in between gynae visits, and just having an in-built person to rant to because we were in the same shoes at the same time.
For our family of course, it's double the happiness 😄
Finding out that my sister and I were pregnant at nearly the same time was truly a remarkable and comforting experience. For instance, the early days were filled with similar symptoms like gagging and nausea, and it was reassuring to be able to chat openly about what we were going through without feeling alone or overwhelmed. Additionally, we coincidentally chose the same gynecologist, which made our appointments feel like shared milestones. Having someone who's literally on the same journey nearby to rant to or ask ’Is this normal?’ was invaluable. I also recall how closely our babies grew side by side—they even had similar measurements at scans, which felt like a sign of our connected experience. Preparing for our babies together extended beyond medical checkups; we shared tips on managing pregnancy discomforts and even discussed the perfect outfits for the upcoming celebrations. This journey showed me the unique joy that comes from sibling support during such a personal life event. It's double the happiness, double the love, and a bond that's truly strengthened by these parallel lives growing together.
