New Year New Fits Day 13

The Inspo: The first double outfit of this series. Today is a work from home day, but I decided to go into the office towards the end of the day to get some work done that I can only do while at an office space and following that I was supposed to have dodgeball practice, but because my body still hasn’t recovered from not being able to eat much of anything for two weeks, two hours of dodgeball is a little out of the question currently. But I am hopeful that by Sunday I will be able to play as long as I want to!

... Read moreAs someone who often juggles between working from home and needing to venture into the office, I completely relate to the outfit versatility highlighted in this post. Choosing outfits that transition smoothly from casual to semi-professional settings can be a game-changer, especially when prioritizing comfort and confidence. I love how the combination of a Shein crop top paired with Torrid jeans offers both style and ease of movement, essential when working long hours. The mention of Sperry shoes also caught my eye — they’re known for their comfort, which makes them ideal for office runs or quick outings. Accessorizing with delicate gold moon necklaces and themed earrings from Temu adds a unique touch without overwhelming the look. For active days or low-impact exercises like dodgeball practice, selecting the right sports bra and leggings is key. The TekGear sports bra and Torrid leggings combo seems to balance support and flexibility well, especially in plus size options which often lack diversity in design and sizing. It's inspiring to see body positivity at the core of this styling approach — embracing your shape, choosing garments that fit well, and focusing on how outfits make you feel beyond just appearances. It’s important to listen to your body, especially when recovering from health challenges as shared here, and adapt both activities and attire accordingly. If you're looking to build a capsule wardrobe for hybrid workdays, consider integrating versatile pieces like those highlighted in this series—mixing and matching casual and coordinating activewear that suits your lifestyle needs while celebrating your individuality.
