New Year New Fits Day 18
I ended up not filming a video or posting yesterday because I was just not having the best day mental healthwise and posting a video of me in my pajamas crying just didn’t feel like something I wanted to do so to make up for it after my dodgeball game this morning, I took a trip to see a friend who works at torrid and I’m giving you guys a little bit of a haul
The outfit I came in wearing was comprised of random athletic wear. I own. The biker shorts are a size 2X from excursion and then the top and bra are both from torrid. Both are too big one is a size 4 and the bra is a size 5
Overall, out of everything that I tried on, I ended up getting the second pair of jeans, along with the light wash flare jeans, the green dress, the sunflower pants, and the purple dress.

During my recent visit to Torrid, I found that shopping for plus-size fashion can be such a rewarding experience when you focus on pieces that truly fit your style and body shape. What I love about Torrid’s collections is their range of sizes and trendy designs that cater specifically to plus-size individuals, making it easier to find flattering and comfortable outfits. For example, I tried on different pairs of jeans including light wash flare jeans which are perfect for creating a casual yet chic look. They’re ideal if you want to elongate your legs and pair well with a variety of tops. The sunflower pants I picked up are a fantastic statement piece—bright, cheerful, and great for adding personality to your wardrobes, such as for spring or summer outings. One tip I always follow during try-ons is to consider layering pieces like dresses over leggings or pairing a casual dress with bold accessories to make it stand out. The green and purple dresses I chose felt versatile enough for both day events and casual dinners. It’s all about mixing and matching until you find combinations that boost your confidence. Mental health plays a huge role in how we feel about ourselves, especially when it comes to fashion. Taking breaks when needed and shopping with a supportive friend, like I did after my dodgeball game, can really enhance the experience. Remember, fashion is not just about wearing clothes; it’s about self-expression and comfort in your skin. If you’re also exploring plus-size fashion, I encourage you to seek out brands like Torrid that prioritize fit and style for all body types. Don’t hesitate to experiment with colors, prints, and different textures to find what makes you feel your best every day.
