The most relaxing getaway idea 🌊 Punta Cana Resort
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana all-inclusive resort and the experience was seamless and relaxing. The beachfront views were stunning and everything about this trip felt effortless. Whether lounging by the pool to exploring the beautiful property, every moment was pure bliss.

So many of you asked for more details about my incredible stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, especially the practical bits! Here's a little more insider info to help you plan your own chill vacation. First off, getting there. The closest and most convenient airport for Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). It's super close, only about a 15-20 minute drive from the resort. When you land, you have a few options for transportation. Many guests pre-book private transfers through the resort or a third-party service, which I highly recommend for a seamless arrival. Taxis are readily available outside the airport, but it’s always good to agree on the fare beforehand. Some all-inclusive packages might even include airport transfers, so definitely check that when booking! It makes your arrival and departure truly effortless. Now, let's talk about the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana beach. It's absolutely stunning! The resort sits right on Juanillo Beach, known for its soft, white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It’s incredibly clean and well-maintained, perfect for long walks or just lounging under the palm trees. I loved how calm the water was, making it ideal for swimming and even some gentle paddleboarding or kayaking, which are often included. There's plenty of space, so it never felt overcrowded, even during peak times. The views are just postcard-perfect, exactly what you picture for a relaxing Caribbean escape. For those wondering about nearby attractions outside the resort, Cap Cana itself is a gated community with a lot to offer. While I mostly enjoyed the resort amenities, there are some great options if you want to explore. The Cap Cana Marina is beautiful for a stroll, with shops and restaurants. You can also book excursions like catamaran tours to Saona Island, deep-sea fishing trips, or even visit Hoyo Azul, a natural cenote with incredibly clear blue water, which is a truly unique experience. These are usually easy to arrange through the concierge at the resort. Just be prepared for a bit of travel time for some of the further excursions. Finally, I know many of you are comparing options, especially between Lopesan Costa Bávaro vs. Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. Since I stayed at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, I can share why it was the perfect choice for me, and what makes it stand out. The main difference between Hyatt Ziva and its sister resort, Hyatt Zilara, is that Ziva is family-friendly while Zilara is *adults-only*. If you're traveling with kids, Ziva is absolutely fantastic, offering a water park, kids' clubs, and activities for all ages. If you're looking for a romantic adults-only getaway, Zilara would be your pick. Both offer the same high standard of service, dining, and luxury all-inclusive experience within the same complex, sharing some facilities but maintaining their distinct atmospheres. Lopesan Costa Bávaro is another large, popular all-inclusive resort in the area, offering a great value, but from my experience, the service and attention to detail at Hyatt Ziva truly elevated it to a luxury level that made my vacation feel incredibly special and worth every penny. For a truly seamless, luxurious, and chill vacation at an all-inclusive resort, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana delivered beyond expectations.
