Arita Raman and Sushi in Buford GA
📍Arita Ramen & Sushi | Buford, GA
If you’re a salmon lover, this spot might be your next obsession !
We finally checked out Arita Ramen & Sushi and here’s everything we tried
⭐️ Salmon Flight (recommend ✅)
6 pieces of salmon nigiri with evenly thick cuts and beautiful marbling. The texture was incredibly fresh, buttery, and had that rich, creamy finish.
⭐️ Sushi Guoba (recommend✅)
Not on the menu, special. I expected something crispy, but it’s actually more like a soft rice cake texture (not chewy). Topped with avocado + spicy tuna, super unique.
⭐️ Beef Shank Ramen
Comes with 4 thick cuts of tender marinated beef shank in a rich bone broth. Flavorful and comforting, but I did notice a slightly sweet aftertaste, found it to be weird.
⭐️ BOGO Sushi Deal
Rocky Shrimp was our favorite. The eel roll wasn’t really for us.
⭐️ Chicken Hibachi
Solid and the yum yum sauce was extra thick (which we loved).
🍋 Yuzu Sake (recommend✅)
Light, citrusy, and super refreshing , highly recommend if you like fruity drinks.

After my visit to Arita Ramen & Sushi in Buford, GA, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes this spot unique, especially since so many of you are searching for reviews! Beyond just the dishes, I think the overall experience here really adds to its charm as a 'Cute Ramen Sushi & Bar Spot,' as one of the images suggests. First off, let's talk about those standouts. The Salmon Flight for $17 truly lives up to the hype. It’s not just about getting six pieces of salmon nigiri; it’s about the consistent quality – thick, buttery cuts with beautiful marbling that just melt in your mouth. If you’re a purist who appreciates fresh, premium fish, this is an absolute must-order. It set the bar high for the rest of the meal! Then there's the Sushi Guoba for $12.99 – this was such a pleasant surprise, especially since it's an off-menu special. I totally expected something crispy, but the soft, non-chewy rice cake texture topped with avocado and spicy tuna was a unique and satisfying combination. It's the kind of dish you tell your friends about because it’s unexpected and delicious. Don't be afraid to ask for it! Now, onto the Beef Shank Ramen at $17. While the beef shank itself was incredibly tender and the bone broth rich, I did notice that subtle sweetness in the aftertaste. For some, this might be a delightful twist, but if you prefer a strictly savory or spicy ramen, it’s worth noting. It’s still a comforting bowl, especially on a chilly day. A huge bonus is their BOGO Sushi Deal for $17. We tried the Rocky Shrimp roll, which was fantastic – definitely a solid choice if you love crunchy, flavorful rolls. However, the eel roll, labeled as 'Piano' in the OCR, wasn't quite for us. It just goes to show that everyone's taste buds are different! It's great to have the option to try two different rolls for the price of one. And can we talk about the drinks? The Fresh Yuzu Sake for $14.99 was incredibly refreshing. Made with homemade Yuzu juice and Dassai Junmai Sake, it's light, citrusy, and perfect for cutting through the richness of some of the dishes. The OCR also highlighted other interesting options like the Aperol Spritz, Lychee, and even a Coconut Martini. It’s clear they have a well-rounded bar to complement the food. The Chicken Hibachi at $18 was a reliable choice, and I agree with the OCR that the yum yum sauce being extra thick was a winner! Sometimes you just want a classic, well-executed dish, and this fit the bill perfectly. Finally, a quick note on the vibe. Arita feels like a welcoming spot, perfect for a casual dinner or a get-together. Given its location in Buford, GA, it’s a convenient stop for delicious Japanese food. If you're looking for a spot that offers a mix of traditional and unique Japanese dishes, with some great deals on sushi, Arita Ramen & Sushi is definitely worth checking out for yourself!
