Little trip to Multomah falls last week.

Visiting Multnomah Falls is truly a breathtaking experience. Located in Multnomah County, Oregon, this 620-foot waterfall is one of the most photographed natural landmarks in the Pacific Northwest. When I visited last week, the falls were particularly vibrant with the spring runoff creating a powerful cascade. I used my Canon Rebel 7 to capture the stunning visuals; having a good camera really helps to convey the majesty of the falls in photos. One thing I highly recommend is taking the short hike to the Benson Bridge, which offers an up-close view of the waterfall and gives you the chance to feel the mist on your face. Besides the visual spectacle, I found the sound of rushing water incredibly relaxing, a perfect escape from the hustle of daily life. The site also has informative signage about the geological history of the falls and the local flora and fauna, which adds educational value to the visit. If you're planning a trip, bringing comfortable shoes, water, and perhaps a light jacket is advisable since the weather near the falls can be cooler and misty. Also, consider exploring nearby hiking trails in the Columbia River Gorge for a more extended outdoor adventure. Overall, Multnomah Falls offers not just a photo opportunity but a refreshing nature experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to connect with Oregon’s wild beauty.
