Pop Bakery, Starbucks and Magical Island Adventure
Explored the Sentosa Weave on our 2nd day of staycation. After breakfast and a dip in the pool, we headed to RWS station 😍
1. Pop Bakery
We couldn’t get reservation a few days before our staycation so we can’t dine in. We can only takeaway the popsicles. Wanted to try both the twinkle twinkle twin popsicle in mango and milk as well as the sea salt coconut but decided to get 1 first.
2. Starbucks @ Weave
The starbucks there was really very “singaporean”, with the bear dressed in kebaya 😂 We ordered drinks and food available on other Starbucks and it comes with a reusable cup that is so cute! You can customise tumblers too!
3. Magical Island Adventure
For first time, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia opens at night. Disney set ups like Monash, Stitch and Ariel are found there. Tickets are needed for entry after 7pm! But the lightings are really magical 😍
During my recent Sentosa staycation, I found that exploring beyond the usual attractions can create memorable experiences. Pop Bakery’s popularity is no surprise—though reservations are required for dining in, their takeaway mango popsicle was refreshingly sweet and perfect for a hot Singapore day. The option to try unique flavors like sea salt coconut and the twinkle twinkle twin popsicle intrigued me, and I plan to visit again to sample them all. The Starbucks at Weave brought a local twist to a familiar brand. I loved spotting the bear mascot dressed in kebaya, a tribute to Singapore's rich culture. Aside from the standard favorites, this outlet offers exclusive merchandise and customizable tumblers that make a great souvenir or gift. The reusable cups complement the eco-conscious mindset, enhancing the overall appeal. What truly made the staycation magical was the first-ever nighttime opening of the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia with the Magical Island Adventure. The Disney-themed setups featuring beloved characters like Mulan, Stitch, and Ariel illuminated with enchanting lighting created a whimsical atmosphere that delighted visitors of all ages. The required tickets after 7 pm ensure a curated and intimate experience, adding to the charm of this new evening attraction. For families or anyone looking for unique things to do in Singapore, these three stops offer a diverse mix of taste, culture, and entertainment. My personal tip is to plan your pop bakery order early and allocate enough time to enjoy the magical light displays at night for a truly special Sentosa adventure.
