Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

- 1/4 cup honey

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spiciness)

- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Directions:

1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sriracha, and grated ginger to form the marinade.

2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides, then place them in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer for deeper flavor.

3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking dish with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear until the skin is crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Flip the chicken thighs and pour any remaining marinade over them. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

6. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
