How many of these Reddit repost pages do I have to block?
Its literally an all day every day thing. I'm constantly seeing and block these pages that just steal Reddit AITA type posts for engagement. They're really friggin annoying 😑
I've been in the same situation where my Lemon8 feed gets overwhelmed by so many repost pages that just take Reddit AITA posts without credit. It can become really frustrating to scroll through content that feels recycled and lacks originality. One effective approach I found is to actively block or report these pages as soon as I spot them. Lemon8’s blocking feature can be a real lifesaver if you consistently use it to filter out unwanted reposts. Another useful tip is to engage with authentic and original creators by liking and commenting on their posts. This helps the platform’s algorithm recognize and prioritize original content in your feed over reposted materials. If enough users make similar efforts, it might encourage Lemon8 to improve their detection and handling of reposted Reddit stories. I also try to diversify the communities and hashtags I follow—focusing on more niche or original content areas rather than those flooded with reposts. For example, while #redditstories or #AITA are popular and prone to reposts, finding related but less saturated topics can keep your feed fresh without losing the engaging storytelling aspect. Ultimately, it’s about being proactive with your feed management. The more repost pages you block and the more original content you support, the better experience you’ll have on Lemon8. Hopefully, with enough user feedback, platforms like Lemon8 will develop stronger systems to curb repost page prevalence and improve content authenticity overall.
