This year was toughhhhhhhh! When my client asked me what the theme of my year was, I said 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 — because that’s exactly what it’s been.

I recovered from heartbreak.

I recovered from being in my own way.

And I watched God restore parts of me I thought were broken.

This was my 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫, and let me tell you — you cannot do this without God. It’s the ultimate faith test. But even through the pressure, He sent an overflow:

✨ Overflow of appreciation

✨ Overflow of peace and mental clarity

✨ Overflow of prayer

✨ Even an overflow of isolation — because that isolation was necessary for elevation.

The restoration is still in progress, but I’m so grateful for how far He’s brought me.

Let’s get active. 🙏🏾✨

However, these periods are often where transformation begins. From personal experience, I’ve learned that embracing faith and allowing God to nurture your ‘dry soil’ leads to unexpected abundance and breakthroughs. In those moments of isolation and testing, it’s important to remember that rest and reflection are not signs of failure but essential parts of growth. The overflow mentioned—such as increased peace and mental clarity—rarely come overnight. They evolve as you remain patient, consistent in prayer, and open to change. For entrepreneurs, the journey can be even more intense; the pressure can make faith feel like the only lifeline. But this pressure also carves out space for creativity, renewed purpose, and deeper connection to your mission. God’s overflow isn’t just about tangible success but about the restoration of your spirit and mindset. Trusting that God wouldn’t assign you challenges you can’t handle is a powerful mindset shift. It encourages you to move forward confidently, knowing you are being prepared for the next season of growth. Whether it’s an overflow of appreciation, new opportunities, or inner peace, these are signs that your soil is being watered and your foundation is strengthening. If you’re feeling stuck, try reflecting on the small overflows in your life already: moments of gratitude, clarity, or unexpected blessings. These are reminders that the dry season is temporary and that restoration is underway. Keep tending to your dreams and faith, even when results aren’t immediately visible—the flood will come, often when least expected.
