Broccoli Salad 🥦🥗
This is was a huge hit at the family BBQ, something different. So here is the recipe I concocted.
2 large heads of broccoli, chopped small
2-3tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Red onion finely chopped (I’m not big on raw onion)
1 bag shredded carrots
1 small bag dried cranberries
1/2 cup roasted sunflower seed kernels
1/2 bag shredded sharp cheddar
1 1/2 cup mayo
1tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3tbsp granulated sugar
1 package cooked and crumbled bacon
In a large bowl add the chopped broccoli, carrots, cranberries, cheese, sunflower seed kernels, and onion.
Cook the bacon until crispy and let cool, once cooled crumble into the broccoli mixture.
In a small bowl add the ACV, salt, pepper, sugar and mayo and mix well, then add to the broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate until serving. Even some of our picky eaters tried it and actually went back for more! #broccolisaladrecipe #tested #delicious #summersalads
