Raising a nonverbal toddler has taught me so much… about communication, connection, and how powerful love can be without words. But it’s also hard. Some days I feel like I’m guessing every second. Some days the meltdowns and the silence hit at the same time. Some days I’m overstimulated, touched out, and mentally drained by 9 a.m.
I love my baby with everything I have.
And I’d do anything to understand their world better.
But I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t exhausting sometimes.
Emotionally. Physically. Deep in my chest.
Still… I keep showing up.
We’re learning each other’s language, one moment at a time. And even when it’s hard, I know I’m the exact mom they need.
