親子の時間は、子どもの成長と共に刻一刻と変わり、気付いたときにはもう過ぎ去っているものです。実は、子どもが「遊ぼう」と誘ってくれるのは約10年間、一緒に眠れるのも同じくらいの期間、一緒に手をつないで歩けるのは9歳ごろまでといわれています。このように親子関係には限りある時間が存在し、親と過ごす時間は子どもの人生のわずか約5%にすぎません。また、子育て期間の平均日数は約8,760日（24年弱）という短さも知っておくと良いでしょう。 さらに、親子の時間の8割は子どもが18歳になるまでに終わることも知られています。だからこそ、忙しい毎日の中でも「今日という日」を特別視しすぎず、ただこの瞬間を大切に感じることが大切です。子どもは親が思う以上に親の存在で満たされており、何気ない日々の中にこそ将来振り返ったときの宝物となる思い出が積み重なっています。 完璧な親であろうとする必要はなく、時には失敗してもそれが子どもにとっては一番温かい思い出になることもあります。忙しいワーママや子育てママにとって、「できる限りそばにいる」ことが子どもに安心感を与え、心の安定につながるでしょう。 このように親子のかけがえのない時間はあっという間に終わってしまいますが、焦らずに心をゆるめて今ある時間を受け止めることで、親子双方にとって豊かな思い出が育まれていきます。未来の宝物である小さな日常の積み重ねを、ぜひ大切にしてください。 みなさんもぜひ、自分の子どもとの時間を改めて見つめ直し、忙しい日々のなかでもほんの少し心に灯をともすような瞬間を感じてみてはいかがでしょうか？
