✨ VALENTINE FINDS: TARGET EDITION ✨
Last year I had so much fun decorating for my Valentine’s Day Brunch & was super eager for this year’s roll out.
Unfortunately, I’m not thrilled with what was offered. I searched high and low, and could not come across anything 😔 I was really hoping to find some cute plates, cups & even a few decorative items to spruce up what I had last year.
I’m not sure if it’s my Target, but the roll out of the holiday decor has been slacking! I was able to find some cute items and I’m hoping that my other preferred store has some more cute finds so I can share with you guys 🫶🏼

❣️Item: Decorative Candles
❣️Price: $10
I think these candles are super cute and a fun addition to have in your space, even outside of Valentine’s!

❣️Item: Waffle Makers
❣️Price: $9.99
I love the Dash mini waffle makers so much! I have the heart shaped one and was surprised at how quickly it heated up and how easy it was to clean. The big bonus is that it takes up little to no space when it’s time to store it away! I’m not a fan of how thick a classic Belgium waffles is, so these are perfect!

❣️Item: “me and you” duo decor
❣️: $5
These little things are so adorable! Last year they only had the peanut butter and jelly duo, so I was excited to see more additions! They sit up perfectly and don’t tip all over the place, so fun to place in little areas around your home.

Finding the perfect holiday decor can sometimes feel like a treasure hunt, especially when you have a specific vision in mind! Like many of you, I eagerly await the seasonal rollouts at my favorite stores, hoping to discover those unique pieces that will make my home feel extra special. While my initial trip to Target for Valentine's Day finds left me wanting a bit more, it also spurred me to think creatively about how to make the most of what’s available and how to supplement those finds for a truly festive season. Beyond just the items I picked up, I love thinking about how to integrate them into a beautiful setup, like a delightful Valentine's Day brunch spread. Imagine a table adorned with a vibrant red tinsel runner, perhaps a cute 'I Love You' sign, and a whimsical gnome peeking out. The star of the show could easily be a stack of freshly made waffles, especially fun if cooked in a mini heart-shaped waffle maker or one that creates adorable XO shapes! These are perfect for pairing with classic brunch items like fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, a colorful assortment of fresh fruit, and refreshing orange juice. It’s all about creating an experience that feels special and full of love, even if you’re just celebrating with your closest family or friends. When store selections feel a bit limited, I often turn to other sources to complete my holiday look. Places like HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, or even local craft stores like Michaels can sometimes surprise you with unexpected gems. For truly unique, handcrafted items, Etsy is always a fantastic resource, especially for things like custom signs or personalized gifts. Don't forget local artisan markets too; you might find one-of-a-kind pieces that truly reflect your style. And for those moments when you just can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, a little DIY can go a long way! Those decorative candles, whether a pink bubble candle or a rich red bubble candle, can instantly elevate a space. Placing them on a small tray with some faux rose petals or even alongside your adorable coffee cup and donut plush or the peanut butter and jelly toast plush can create a charming vignette. The cute avocado halves plush pieces can add a playful touch to a kitchen or a cozy reading nook. Simple printables, handmade cards, or even painting some old jars to hold flowers can add a personal touch that no store-bought item can replicate. It’s all about infusing your personality and love into your holiday decor, making it uniquely yours and creating memories that last.
