Short Story "Night of Summer Festival"
Monday, August 12, 2024.
After sending my child to the nursery school, I hurried to the station with a parent and child wearing yukata sideways. Preparations for the summer festival have begun in the city, and lanterns are hanging. My husband goes to work. I am thought to be "going to part time." However, today was the day to dedicate that time to him.
At 10 am, I met him at the ticket gate of Namba station.
"There are a lot of people. It's probably because of the festival."
"Yeah, there are many children wearing yukata."
While having such a casual conversation, I bought a lunch box and cold tea at a convenience store. The figure walking with a bag is an ordinary couple. But my feet naturally head to the hotel.
