Spring Festivals
#weekendactivities #lemon8challenge
This time of year I really enjoy going to festivals on the weekends. I loved this spring celebration festival in my town last weekend. It’s the Annual Flimp Festival held in the sculpture garden.
Tips on how to make it a good day:
-Go early if you have little ones. That way you can enjoy all the activity stations.
-Get to flower crown making early and be patient. This was one of the more popular activity stations.
-Wear sunscreen- it starts getting warmer and you’re exposed to the sun. Always a good idea to wear some.
-Prepare for the food trucks by setting money aside for that or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in one of the pretty grassy areas.
-Bring wet wipes or hand sanitizer. Kids are adorbs but germy.
-Have fun❤️🥰
Missing that sunshine today☀️☀️☀️🕶️🌸🌺🌸🌺
Spring festivals are a wonderful way to celebrate the season and create lasting memories with family and friends. Many communities hold unique events, like flower festivals, craft fairs, and food celebrations that bring people together. Festivals often feature local artisans, musicians, and food vendors, providing a diverse experience for attendees. To maximize your enjoyment, consider arriving early to explore before the crowds and check the schedule for special activities, such as performances or family-focused workshops. Additionally, explore festival-related blogs or local listings for the best upcoming spring events in your area. You can find hidden gems like community gardens or art installations that may not be on the main festival route. Embrace the vibrant atmosphere, and be sure to capture and share your family's adventure through photos and social media. Spring is a perfect time for exploration and fun, so gather your loved ones, and dive into the excitement that these seasonal festivals can offer!
