Hey Lemon8 fam! So many of you have been curious about 'Who's Katrina?' and I thought it was high time I shared a little more about myself, beyond just a quick bio. You might know me as Katrina Coleman, or maybe you've stumbled upon my handle, 'bougieb' – either way, I'm just me, living my life here in Missouri. Let's start from the beginning, shall we? I was born in 1975, which means I've seen a lot of changes in the world! Sometimes I feel like I'm a walking history book when my girls ask me about life 'back then.' It's wild to think about how much technology has evolved, but some things remain timeless, like family, good food, and genuine connections. Being a 'Katrina Little' back then was definitely a different experience than for kids today! Speaking of family, I'm incredibly proud to say I've been happily married for 20 years. Twenty years! It feels like yesterday and a lifetime all at once. Marriage is definitely an adventure, full of ups and downs, laughter, and learning. We've built such a beautiful life together, and he's my rock through everything. Sharing that journey is something I cherish. Then there are my three amazing girls. Being a mom to three daughters is a full-time job, and the most rewarding one I've ever had. From school projects to teenage drama, fashion advice to heart-to-heart talks, every day is an exciting new chapter. They keep me on my toes, challenge me to be a better person, and fill our home with so much joy and chaos. It's truly a blessing. And for a big part of my life, I've also been a dedicated caregiver. This role has taught me so much about empathy, patience, and unconditional love. It's not always easy, but the connections you form and the support you can offer to others are incredibly meaningful. It truly shapes who I am. Living here in MO, or Missouri as some of you might know it, offers such a wonderful balance. We get to experience all four seasons, enjoy the beauty of nature, and still have access to vibrant communities. There's a real sense of community here that I absolutely adore. I'm just a proud wife, a busy mom of three, a dedicated caregiver, and yes, still 'my mom's cutest daughter' (at least in her eyes!).
