How I function with ADHD
So, I have ADHD, my focus factor is not the best. Time management, horrible. Side Track, easy. Forgetting something, always.
I have a total of 9 notebooks to kind of help me with organization. I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. Writing is my best friend, so I decided to start writing a to-do list and keeping a planner. Eventually, I started writing my gratitude and prayers when I wake up. Then, I added an intentional journal because I started a 14-day journaling challenge. Also, there’s my brain dumb and business journals.
I know it seems like a lot to deal with but for me I have to have complete structure and sometimes that's not enough. But I Try!!!
Living with ADHD can be challenging, but finding effective strategies can make a significant difference. Many individuals with ADHD experience difficulties with focus, time management, and organization, which can affect daily life. One key aspect of dealing with ADHD is creating a structured environment. Utilizing multiple notebooks, like the author does, can help in organizing thoughts and tasks. Keeping to-do lists allows one to visualize daily goals and prioritize effectively. Moreover, journaling is a powerful practice that not only enhances focus but also fosters gratitude. Writing down morning intentions can set a positive tone for the day, while regular gratitude journaling can shift the mindset towards positivity. It's also beneficial to incorporate time management techniques into daily routines. Simple methods like the Pomodoro Technique, which involves working in timed intervals, can help maintain focus and prevent distractions. Additionally, setting reminders or using apps designed for ADHD management can streamline tasks and appointments. Ultimately, embracing these techniques can empower individuals with ADHD to lead more organized and fulfilling lives.
