The start of 2024 I struggled with bad anxiety. I was consumed with fear scared to go to sleep getting little to no sleep at night. I was even a little depressed. My blood pressure was out of control. We become so use to smiling and all the while we’re deal with things people don’t know about. Stay with me I am going somewhere with this post. I was everything to everybody but to ME! I had to do something cause this couldn’t be life. I was physically, emotionally , mentally and spiritually drained. I had to make me a priority so I started my weight loss journey even got myself into therapy (best decision ever) and prayed for God to work on Me (my flaws and all). When the enemy sees that his tricks aren’t working anymore he tries his best to get you off course. My Pastor once said to focus on those that love you and don’t worry about those who don’t...that really stuck with me. People are going to be who
they are and sometimes there is nothing you can do to change them. Everyday is a new day and I am grateful that I am no longer in that place. Today I can say I love myself but I am still a work in progress and I am determined to stay on course. #selfcare #selflove #transparentmoment
At the beginning of 2024, many individuals faced emotional challenges, similar to what I experienced. Anxiety and depression are common issues, affecting countless people in today's fast-paced world. Studies show that self-care practices, such as therapy, can significantly alleviate symptoms and improve mental health outcomes. It's crucial to prioritize one's well-being, especially in difficult circumstances. Incorporating mindfulness techniques, regular physical activity, and establishing a strong support network can greatly enhance self-love and resilience. Focus on nurturing relationships with those who uplift you, as this can create a positive feedback loop of support and encouragement. Remember, healing is a journey, not a destination, and progress takes time. By embracing vulnerability and sharing our experiences, we can create a more compassionate community. Let's continue to encourage each other on our paths to personal growth, understanding that each step, no matter how small, is a significant accomplishment in our quest for happiness and self-acceptance.
