I can never say no to Farra🤍
After my third visit, I can confidently say this meal was an absolute win! 🏆 Later, I found out that “Farra” is an ancient word meaning “to drink”—a perfect name for a place that brings people together over amazing drinks and even better food. 🥂
💙 Must-Try Dishes at Farra
1️⃣ Scallop Rice | $35
Think crispy rice meets silky scallops. 🥢 Underneath the golden, crunchy layer is a rich, eggy seafood broth with plump scallops, topped with salmon roe for that extra pop of umami. It’s crispy, creamy, and incredibly flavorful—a dish that keeps you coming back for more.
2️⃣ Foie Gras | $32
Farra turns foie gras into a luscious mousse, pairing its velvety richness with maple syrup and cranberries 🍯—a sweet-tart contrast that balances the decadence beautifully. Served with soft bread, this dish is already a winner, but I can’t help but think a sprinkle of toasted nuts would take it to the next level!
3️⃣ Duck Leg | $32
The duck leg is all about that deep, rich fattiness—seared to perfection and served with simply seasoned veggies to let the ingredients shine. The surprise element? Shiitake mushrooms. You don’t see them often in Western dishes, but they blend in seamlessly here. Pro tip: dip the duck in the leftover egg yolk from the scallop rice. Thank me later. 👍🏻
✨ Ambience Check
Farra is small, dimly lit, and ridiculously intimate—the kind of place that makes every dinner feel like a date (even if it’s just with your food). 🍷 The open kitchen adds a cool touch, though fair warning: you might leave with a hint of that delicious smokiness clinging to you. Worth it.
This place is a hidden gem, and with a seasonal menu that keeps things fresh, I already know I’ll be back. Who’s coming with me? 😏
