私が行ったのは新宿の「GLASS COFFEE（glass coffee shinjuku）」で、無機質カフェ好きに刺さる雰囲気でした。店内はグレー基調で白いテーブル＆椅子が並び、写真を撮ると料理がすごく映えます。暗めで静かな空気感なので、にぎやかなカフェが苦手な日にも向いていました。 看板メニュー的に頼んでよかったのが「ドーナツアフォガード」。ふわふわのドーナツに、バニラアイスとチョコレートソースがしっかりかかっていて、甘党にはたまらないタイプです。私は合わせてカフェラテを注文したのですが、甘さをラテがいい感じに整えてくれて相性◎。ラテアートもきれいで、テーブルに並べた瞬間テンションが上がりました。新宿御苑周辺で“ドーナツが美味しいカフェ”を探している人にもおすすめできます。 作業目的でも使いやすかったポイントは、Wi‑Fiがあることと、全席コンセントが使えること。短時間の作業や、スマホの充電をしながら休憩したいときに助かります。カウンター席もあるので1人でも入りやすく、周りの目が気になりにくいのも良かったです。 時間帯のコツとしては、朝は9:00オープンですが9:00-10:00はテイクアウト限定なので、店内でゆっくりしたいなら10:00以降が安心。私は平日10時頃で先客が少しだけで、かなり落ち着いて過ごせました。席数は多すぎないので、週末やランチ後は混みやすいかも。混雑時は声かけがある可能性もあるようなので、長居したい日は早めの時間に行くのが良さそうです。 場所は新宿御苑前駅から徒歩3分ほどで、角地にあって外観の看板もわかりやすい印象でした。新宿で「グラスコーヒー 新宿」を探している方は、駅近で迷いにくいのもポイントです。
