「吉祥寺でスイーツが美味しいカフェないかな？」と思って探している人に、私が行ってよかったのが吉祥寺の「That’s Life」。駅近なのに商店街から少し外れていて、ちょっと穴場感があるのが嬉しいポイントでした。外観もピンク×白のストライプで目印になりやすく、初めてでも迷いにくかったです。 お店の雰囲気は“吉祥寺 カフェ レトロ”で探している人に刺さりそうなアメリカンレトロ。ピンクの壁にチェック柄の椅子、木製テーブルで写真が可愛く撮れました。人気なのは奥のピンクの壁の角席っぽくて、私が行った日もそこから埋まっていく感じ。カフェ利用なら、早めの時間か、ピークを少し外して行くのが安心です。 スイーツ目的なら「吉祥寺 スイーツ カフェ」「吉祥寺 ケーキ カフェ」で探している人におすすめしたいのが桜メニュー。どれも桜が“ふわっと香る”くらいのバランスで、桜味が強すぎるのが苦手な人でも挑戦しやすいと思いました。特に印象に残ったのは桜のスコーンサンド。スコーンは甘いタイプというより、ほんのり塩気があって、桜アイスの甘さと合わさる甘じょっぱさが良かったです。パウンドケーキはしっとりで、クリームの方が桜感しっかりめ。桜好きはクリームをたっぷり付けるのがおすすめです。 ドリンクは、まったりしたいなら桜ラテ、気分を変えたいなら桜ソーダフロートが良かったです。ソーダは春っぽく爽やかで、バニラアイスと生クリームのトッピングでデザート感も強め。甘いものをいくつか頼む日でも、意外と重くなりすぎず飲めました。 使い勝手の面では、席にあるQRコードから注文できてスムーズ。ペット可なのも嬉しいところで、テラスだけじゃなく条件が合えば一緒に過ごせるのは助かります（最新ルールは念のため公式で確認推奨）。 スイーツだけじゃなくサンドイッチやオーバーライスなど食事メニューもあったので、「カフェでケーキ＋軽食も食べたい」派にも相性◎。吉祥寺で“レトロ可愛いカフェ”と“季節スイーツ”を両方楽しみたい日に、また行きたいと思える一軒でした。
