In need of breastfeeding advice
When breastfeeding my baby, he eats then pushes away and cries. I’ll try again and he does the same thing, but cries even harder and it’s very overwhelming I never know what to do. And I’ll have changed him prior and all. However, when I give him formula he eats and calms down. I feel discouraged like my breast milk isn’t good enough and it makes me feel terrible.
Breastfeeding can be a challenging experience for many new mothers, especially when facing issues such as a baby pushing away during feeding. It's important to understand that these struggles are common and can arise for various reasons. One approach to help your baby during breastfeeding is to ensure a calm and relaxed environment. Skin-to-skin contact can promote bonding and may encourage your baby to latch on better. Also, feeding in a comfortable position can make a significant difference. If your baby consistently prefers formula, it might be helpful to consult with a lactation consultant who can evaluate potential issues such as latch difficulty or milk supply concerns. They can provide tailored advice and support to help you navigate these challenges. Remember, it's crucial to prioritize both your and your baby's well-being. If breastfeeding continues to be distressing, it’s okay to consider mixed feeding or exclusively formula feeding as a valid option—what matters most is that your baby is fed and thriving. Building a support network with other mothers experiencing similar challenges can also provide comfort and valuable insights. Online communities and forums are great resources for shared experiences and advice. You're not alone, and with the right support and information, you can overcome these breastfeeding hurdles.

Defi etky sounds like a latching issue, momma! Babies are also lazy lol they'll prefer a bottle over a boob any day because it's less work. My kiddo was the same way , but I also had flow/supply issues and latching issues.
