Spring poncho WIPS
Who else has multiple WIPS 😅
I couldn't help but grab the beautiful yarn from micheals that's from loops and threads the facets line with sparkle ✨ the green and pink combo (first picture) 🥰 and then I also grabbed the bright pink to light pink one also beautiful.
Then I went to walmart for essentials aaand ended up in the yarn isle 🤣🤣🤣 and found that mandala pink and orange yarn (second picture) and knew I had to make a spring poncho with it also ❤️
Sharing my experience with spring poncho crochet projects, I’ve realized how important it is to choose the right yarn not just for color but also for texture and sparkle to elevate the design. The Loops & Threads Facets line from Michaels especially caught my eye because of its subtle sparkle, which gives the finished poncho a unique shine that looks fantastic in natural light. When I ventured into Walmart for essentials, I couldn’t resist exploring the yarn aisle where I found the Mandala yarn in pink and orange shades. This yarn is super soft and has a lovely gradient that’s perfect for spring-themed garments. Combining different yarns from various stores allows for more creativity and personalization in crafting. If you’re juggling multiple WIPs (Works in Progress) like me, organization becomes key. I recommend keeping separate project bags or containers for each WIP, noting down stitch counts and pattern progress so you can easily pick up where you left off. This way, juggling between projects feels less overwhelming and more enjoyable. Additionally, consider using yarn bowls or holders to keep your yarn tidy; the tea cup yarn bowl I’ve come across is not only cute but functional to prevent tangles while you crochet. Crocheting spring ponchos is such a delightful way to update your wardrobe with handmade charm. Lessons I’ve learned include being patient with colors transitioning and testing gauge swatches to ensure your poncho will drape just right. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crocheter, experimenting with colors and blends like these can inspire your next beautiful spring accessory.
