Watch Out for Oxidation: Several foundations tend to oxidise—that is, they darken or change color after application, sometimes becoming orange or patchy. To minimize oxidation, try testing the foundation on your jawline and observe it for a few hours before committing to full-face use. Ingredients and formulation changes can affect this, so newer formulas may behave differently. 3. Longevity and Transfer Resistance: Consider your daily activities and whether your foundation will need to withstand long hours, sweat, or mask-wearing.
