Looking for the best view😅

When I visit a new city, finding the best views is always at the top of my list, especially if they're free! Singapore truly spoils us with incredible vistas, and I've spent hours exploring to find those perfect, wallet-friendly photo ops. You might have seen the popular spots like the Marina Bay Sands Skypark, but trust me, you don't always need to pay for a breathtaking perspective. My journey often starts at Merlion Park, and I can totally vouch for it as one of the prime locations. I've found that visiting both during the day and at night offers completely different, yet equally mesmerizing, experiences. Beyond these well-known spots, Singapore has more hidden gems for free views. I highly recommend taking a walk through Gardens by the Bay (specifically the outdoor gardens). While the conservatories have an entrance fee, the Supertree Grove and surrounding gardens are free to explore, offering fantastic views of the Supertrees with the Marina Bay Sands towering behind them. For a unique architectural perspective, try the Helix Bridge, especially at night when its lights create a cool effect. It connects Marina Centre with Bayfront and provides excellent angles of the entire Marina Bay area. For those who love a bit of elevation without the cost, the Esplanade Roof Terrace is another personal favorite. It's often less crowded than Merlion Park and gives you a fantastic panoramic view of the civic district, Marina Bay, and the Esplanade domes themselves. It's perfect for capturing the city's pulse from a slightly different angle. To truly make the most of your view-hunting adventure, here are a few personal tips: Timing is everything: Golden hour (sunrise/sunset) and night offer the most dramatic and photographable scenes, with the city lights creating a magical ambiance. Look for reflections: The calm waters of Marina Bay are perfect for capturing stunning reflections of the skyscrapers. Don't forget the details: While the grand panorama is great, zoom in on the architectural details or the people enjoying the views to add character to your shots. Explore on foot: Some of the best views are found by simply wandering, just like I did, discovering those unexpected angles.
