Back to the Gym after 2 weeks
Today I finally found the motivation to go back to the gym after too long weeks. When it starts to get dark out so early due to the day light saving it really messes up with my routine and my mind set. I can’t help to get a little depressed and even when I try to fight it I just don’t find it in me to push true.
I know sooner or later this feeling will subside and I will be back to my normal self doing what I love and making my mind and body stronger everyday. Well this time it took two weeks for this feeling to go away and I am excited for what’s to come.
I went to work from 7:45-5:30pm and it was as a slow day, I have my daily morning matcha that I make myself at work, I will soon post a video on that, and it was delicious as always and it also provided that morning boost that was very much needed. After work I went to gym for a intense leg day and was at the gym for 1 hour, I felt amazing to be back and feel myself being the most productive that I have been in the last two weeks.
Now I feel motivated to write my whole next week gym routine and schedule and also to get back to meal prepping. It feels great to complete all the task on my list. You can’t rush your seasonal depression but just try to stay healthy even if you not making it to gym because you can’t motivate yourself, try to still eat healthy and maybe on your lunch break seat 15 min to go around your building, you will be impressed of how much better you will feel after walking in the sun for a little while or just the cold air hitting your face, it brings you back and remind you that you are very much alive.

Returning to the gym after a break can be daunting, especially when faced with seasonal changes that can affect your motivation. It's common to feel down, but understanding how to combat these feelings can make a significant difference. Start with small, manageable goals like a short workout or a brief walk during breaks to gradually boost your mood and energy levels. Focus on nutrition by incorporating energy-rich foods such as fruits and organic meals to keep your body fueled. Emphasize workouts that transform your routine and build endurance. Success lies in consistency and mindset. Remember, enjoying the process is just as important as achieving the end result. Staying active not only benefits physical health but also plays a key role in mental well-being. Embrace this journey with patience and positivity!
