Too Face Peach Collection
This was not a collection I expected Too Face to bring back. I understand why they would considering how popular it was. I just dont think this was done correctly. A lot of it had to be reformulated because it used talc in the formula.
The palette is also a lot smaller and has less range in terms of shades. I don't think its worth it. Especially since some people are sayinng that the smell has already started to fade. Others say that they barely get any hints of it being peach scented.
Having used both the original Too Faced Peach Collection and the reformulated version, I can share some personal insights that may help those considering this palette. The original collection was beloved for its vivid range of shades and the unmistakable fresh peach aroma that made makeup application a sensory delight. Unfortunately, the new reformulated palette, while safer without talc, offers a noticeably smaller variety of colors, which limits creativity for more complex looks. One of the biggest letdowns for me was the peach scent. The original had a strong, sweet peach fragrance that lingered on the skin, adding to the charm of the makeup experience. In contrast, the new version's scent is significantly subdued, which some users might appreciate if sensitivity to fragrance is an issue, but for peach scent enthusiasts, it’s disappointing. Shade names like "Charmed," "FM Sure," "Tempting," and "Bless Her Heart" remain, but the lack of deeper tones and lighter highlights seen previously reduces versatility. Also worth noting, the texture feels different—some shades have a drier finish, impacting blendability and payoff. If you prioritize a palette that is talc-free and potentially gentler on the skin, this new Peach Collection might appeal despite its drawbacks. However, if you value the original’s full shade range and signature scent, you might find this update lacking. I'd recommend testing the palette in-store if possible to see how it performs on your skin tone before purchasing. Overall, while the Too Faced Peach Collection still carries nostalgic value, the reformulation and reduced shade options make it less of a must-have compared to the original. For peach lovers seeking a strong peach scent and diverse shadows, exploring other brands or waiting for an improved release could be more satisfying.
agree....complete miss for the collection. the company did not listen to the consumers and put out a dud. I bit the bullet and bought the palette. while the mattes are ok (not anything amazing), I hated the shimmer formula.
