📖What I’m Currently Reading📖
I usually read two books at once, one physical book that I can read in my free time during the day and one book on kindle to read before I fall asleep. I also usually try to read one “fun” book and one more serious or “difficult” book at the same time.
📖 Chain of Thorns, Cassandra Clare
So far this has been a five star read! Admittedly, if a book is well written and edited I tend to give five star reviews, I enjoy most of the book that I read, but I genuinely think that this trilogy is Cassie’s best work yet and I’m loving Chain of Thorns so far!
📖 Wisteria, Adalyn Grace
I usually don’t put a lot of stake in booktok, I think good-not-great books tend to get overhyped there (not always, but often IMO), but I have enjoyed the Belladonna Trilogy so far. I think they’re entertaining, they capture my attention, and I get very cozy vibes from the world building and character relationships. The only thing I think it’s missing is a certain depth that I’ve gotten from other the themes and worlds of some of my favorite five star reads. So far, I give it four stars!
