My recent long weekend getaway to Dillon Beach, CA with my two toddlers was an adventure! We chose Dillon Beach Resort for our stay, and even though the weather decided to throw some seriously windy conditions our way, we made the absolute most of it. While we didn't get to everything, we found some cute local spots for snacks and warm drinks. Dillon Beach truly does offer a perfect spot for a slow and simple weekend. It's not about packed schedules or adrenaline-pumping activities, but rather about enjoying nature, spending quality time together, and creating those precious family memories. We found a beautiful scenic coastal view at sunset which was just breathtaking – a moment of calm amidst the toddler chaos! Even holding a sand dollar found on the beach felt like a little treasure. My top tips for visiting Dillon Beach with little ones? Be prepared for all types of weather – layers are your best friend! Also, think about activities beyond just the beach. Having a plan B, like an arcade or a cozy cafe, can save the day. The resort itself is a fantastic base, offering comfort and convenience. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return, perhaps for a less windy experience next time!
