Exploring New York City with toddlers can be an unforgettable experience, especially during the picturesque fall season. During our 9-day adventure, we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and seasonal displays, making it a magical time for families. Staying at the Hyatt Place Midtown-South offered us spacious rooms and convenient amenities, setting the stage for daily adventures. The hotel’s ideal location allowed us easy access to various attractions and helped us avoid the stress of traveling with car seats by utilizing the extensive subway system. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting must-see locations that cater to young children. The American Museum of Natural History was a family favorite, directly followed by the Bronx Zoo and the NY Transit Museum, where kids can explore and play. To satisfy our cravings, we had delicious eats at POPUP Bagels, Roma Pizza, and WAH FUNG NO.1—local gems that should not be missed! Additionally, we made sure to incorporate some downtime by visiting local playgrounds, with Heckscher Playground in Central Park being the standout location for my kids to burn off energy. Our experience reminds us that NYC is not just for adults; families can create amazing memories through well-planned itineraries that include child-friendly attractions.
