✨FINDING A JB CAFE TO CHILL?!✨
HEY MAH GURLIES! 🎀🤍
I strictly only do HONEST REVIEWS w no biasness or whatsoever so follow me for more <3
my honest reviews:
hojicha latte: too sweet for my liking but it was q smooth compared to usual hojichas ive tried before so u can request for less sweet! their sweetener is brown sugar :)
iced strawberry matcha : strawberry was v overpowering but as someone who can’t take the grassiness of matcha lattes, this was a good cup to me! drink was creamy and matcha was smooth as well! ( i extremely hate grainy matchas)
pan-seared dory fish: sauce complemented the dory well but it became too thick and sweet overtime and for some reasons the dory was chewy?! like i dont think fish is supposed to be chewy…i think can skip also.
beef quesadilla:
too thick and floury , beef was js a normal bolognese minced meat . skip this.
black dessert:
v good and chocolate was amazing and filled w cream which was not too sweet as well . i rlly liked this one!!! MUST GET!
my overall review:
i think is a good place to chill and relax as the ambience was rlly comforting and relaxing but i think their main dishes needs improvement. you can get the dessert and drinks to be safe!

which cafe shld i review next? 🥹
Visiting cafes in JB offers a unique blend of flavors and atmospheres, and 3 Little Chefs @Trove is a perfect example for those seeking a chill spot with a relaxed vibe. From my personal experience, the key to a great cafe visit is not just the food and drinks but also how comfortable and welcoming the environment feels. At 3 Little Chefs, the soothing ambience indeed complements a leisurely afternoon with friends or a quiet solo retreat. If you’re like me and prefer drinks that balance flavor without overwhelming sweetness, remember that you can always ask to adjust sweetness levels, especially with items like the hojicha latte, which was noted to be sweeter than preferred. The brown sugar sweetener adds a nice depth but customizing it to less sweet can make it more enjoyable. The iced strawberry matcha is an interesting choice for those sensitive to matcha’s natural grassiness. The creamy texture and gentle matcha make it very drinkable, although the strawberry is quite dominant. It’s a clever way to ease into matcha if you’re not a fan of its typical earthiness. When it comes to food, the pan-seared dory fish and beef quesadilla might not be your best bets based on texture and flavor. The dory’s chewiness and thick sauce can detract from the dish, while the quesadilla’s thick, floury exterior could feel heavy. It’s good to know what to skip beforehand so you can focus on the highlights. The black dessert stands out as a must-try with its rich chocolate flavor and light cream filling that’s not too sweet. Desserts often make or break a cafe visit for me, and this one definitely leaves a positive impression. Overall, if chilling in a comfortable setting with sweet treats and smooth drinks sounds appealing, 3 Little Chefs @Trove is a solid choice in JB’s cafe scene. It’s these little personal touches and honest reviews that help fellow cafe lovers decide where to spend their downtime. I’m eager to explore more cafes and share honest insights, so stay tuned for more JB cafe hopping adventures!
